Ballet Drop-in Classes

Develop grace, elegance and precision. Classical ballet improves strength, posture, balance and flexibility. These classes are designed for dancers of all levels with classes for the beginner/advanced beginner and elementary level dancer looking for a class focusing on the technical fundamentals that moves at a moderate pace.
Designed for dancers with at least six months experience.

Pointe Workshop
$243
Continue cultivating your pointe technique and elevating your performance through this uniquely tailored performance pointe workshop.
Participants will work on overall technique and strength while learning a classical variation to add to their repertoire. Begin each 1.5-hour class with a classical barre, followed by centre and in the final 6 sessions conclude with embodying a short classical variation.
Movements are specifically designed for the advanced beginner/elementary level adult dancer. Participants should have a minimum of three years of consistent ballet training and at least 1.5 – 2 years of prior pointe experience to sign-up.

Private/Semi Private Classes
Starting at $45
Personalized private, semi-private, and group lessons in person and on Zoom, specializing in classical ballet, pointe, conditioning and variation coaching/exam preparation (Cecchetti&RAD). These tailored sessions are suitable for all levels, including audition preparation, and can be booked by emailing admin@dballet.com

About Dayton
Founder
Following an established career as a faculty member at Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) and The National Ballet of Canada's (NBoC) Instudio program, and a company member of Atelier Ballet, Dayton is launching his own studio dedicated exclusively to the post-secondary and adult classical dancer. He approaches every class with a signature blend of technical precision and infectious warmth, rooted in the belief that ballet should be as joyful as it is disciplined.

Dayton’s extensive ballet background includes performances with the National Ballet of Canada and Ballet Jörgen, as well as international teaching residencies at Sufei Art Education (Shenzhen, China), and Hydrama Theatre (Hydra, Greece).

Trained at NBS, The Banff Centre, The University of Edinburgh and Ryerson Theatre School (TMU), with a foundation in Vaganova, RAD and Cecchetti Ballet, Dayton is a member of the Cecchetti Society of Canada.
Dayton has dedicated this next chapter to a singular mission: making the world of classical dance feel open, inclusive, and deeply rewarding for every adult who walks through his doors.
